Store List and Creating a New Store

You see all your stores in a list and access each of them; with Add New Store you create a new store using a 4-step wizard.

Where to find: In the store owner panel, My Stores (creation: Add New Store) Who it's for: Those who want to see and manage their stores in one place and open a new store. In short: You see all your stores in a list and access each of them; with Add New Store you create a new store using a 4-step wizard.

What does it do?

The My Stores page shows the stores you own and the ones you are a partner/member of together. From here you reach the management, settings, and storefront of each store; and you create new stores. The page's description: "Manage your stores and access their storefronts."

Store list

Stores are grouped into two tabs:

  • My Stores — the stores you own.
  • Partner Stores — stores owned by someone else, where you've been added as a member/partner. If there are none, "No partner stores yet." is shown.

If you have no stores, the "No stores yet" heading and the "Create your first store to get started" description appear.

Your own store's card

Each card shows the store's name, status (Active or Inactive badge), and address (slug). The buttons on the card:

ButtonWhat does it do?
ManageGoes to the store's management panel (products, orders, customers, etc.)
SettingsOpens the store settings page
MembersOpens the store team members screen
Visit storeOpens the store's actual storefront (the customer site) in a new tab

Partner store card

The partner store card additionally shows the store owner's name and your role (Admin, Editor, or Staff). The buttons on these cards change according to the permissions given to you: the button for actions you have permission for appears (Manage, Settings, Theme Editor), while the visit storefront button is always present.

Adding a new store

The store creation wizard opens with the Add New Store button at the top right (on your first store, Create Your First Store).

Warning: If your plan's store allowance is used up, a warning appears at the creation step: "Store allowance used up" / "Store limit exceeded" and "You've used {used}/{limit} of the store allowance in your current plan. To open a new store, you can upgrade your plan." In this case you can continue with Upgrade Plan; otherwise you cannot create a new store.

Frequently asked questions

If I quit the wizard halfway, is my store created? Yes. The store is created once Step 1 is completed. Even if you skip the next steps with Skip, your store appears in the list; you can complete the missing settings later from Store Settings.

Can I change the store URL later? You can edit the URL during creation. After creating, address changes are restricted; that's why take care to choose a correct address at the start.

I can't open a new store. Your plan's store allowance may be used up. With the Upgrade Plan link in the warning, you can grow your plan and open a new store.
