Product Settings

From here you set how your products look in listings and on the product page, the discount countdown, related product suggestions, the product address,…

Where to find: Store Settings → Product tab Who it's for: Those who want to define how product cards look, the gallery and info elements on the product page, product addresses (URLs), stock visibility, and review/question rules. In short: From here you set how your products look in listings and on the product page, the discount countdown, related product suggestions, the product address, stock display, and review/question rules.

What does it do?

The Product tab is a single form containing eight sections:

SectionWhat it configures
Product URL PrefixThe internet address of product pages
Listing CardsThe product card design in listings, image ratio, colour options
Product PageImage gallery and info elements on the product page
Product Info ItemsShort reassurance lines shown with an icon on every product page
Stock SettingsStock display and the low-stock threshold
Discount CountdownThe countdown timer, its duration and appearance
Suggestions Below the PageRecently viewed products and similar product count
Review & Question SettingsReview and question rules

Changes across all sections are saved together with a single Save button at the bottom of the page. Under each dropdown, a short line describes what the currently selected option does.

To build the product page layout block by block (which section goes where), use the Product Page Template in the Theme Editor. The settings in this tab keep applying after the template is published; however, if you made a specific choice for a block in the template, that choice takes precedence for that block. See Theme Editor → Product Page Template.

1. Product URL Prefix

Determines the leading part of the internet address of your product pages. The address has this structure:

{store}.treyza.shop/{prefix}/product-name

  • It can only use lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens and must start with a letter. If you enter a value that doesn't follow the rule, the warning "Only lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens are allowed. It must start with a letter." appears and the Save button is disabled.
  • After the prefix is changed, it cannot be changed again for 90 days. While within this period, the field is locked and the warning "URL prefix can be changed in {days} days" appears.
  • If you have used a prefix before, it is shown as "Previous prefix".

Warning: Changing the product URL prefix changes the internet address of all your product pages. This may affect your ranking in search engines and old links shared externally. Also, after the change you cannot change it again for 90 days; so decide carefully.

2. Listing Cards

The cards products appear in on category, brand, tag and search result pages.

ItemDescription
Card DesignChoose which card design products use in listings (see the table below)
Image RatioAspect ratio of product images: 1:1 Square, 3:4 Portrait, 4:3 Landscape, 16:9 Wide, 9:16 Tall portrait. The same ratio is used across all listings
Show Colour Options on CardColour variants are listed as small circles on the card so customers can switch colour without leaving the listing

Card designs

OptionHow it looks
Classic cardBordered card: image on top; brand, product name, rating and price below. The most common choice
Plain (borderless)No border or background. The add to cart button appears over the image on hover
Text over imageProduct name and price are written over a darkened area on the image. Puts the image first
Magazine (large heading)Borderless; the product name is large and bold. Suited to highlighting a small set of featured products
Horizontal listImage on the left, details on the right in a single row. Used in long lists and single column views

Tip: When a customer switches a category page to the single column view, cards are laid out as a horizontal list regardless of your choice.

3. Product Page

The gallery and information elements a customer sees on the product detail page.

ItemDescription
Image GalleryHow multiple product images are displayed (see the table below)
Image ZoomThe image is magnified when the customer hovers over it
Autoplay VideoThe product video plays on its own when reached, without the customer starting it
Share ButtonsCustomers can share the product on social media
Show Product TagsTags you added to the product are listed on the product page
Live Viewer CountShows how many people are viewing the product right now to build interest
OptionHow it looks
Thumbnail railThumbnails sit in a vertical rail on the left and the selected image is shown large beside them
SlidingA single large image with previous/next arrows and a horizontal thumbnail rail underneath
GridThe first four images appear at once in a two column grid; the rest open on click
FilmstripArrows on both edges of the large image; thumbnails run underneath in a horizontal strip

Warning: The settings in this section apply when the matching block in your product page template is set to "take from store settings". If you made a specific choice for that block in the template (for example, assigning a look directly to the gallery block), the template choice wins. Likewise, if your template has a separate Product Tags block, tags keep showing in that block even when the toggle in this tab is off.

4. Product Info Items

Short reassurance lines shown with an icon on every product page. Use them for shipping, returns and payment facts that apply to all products.

  • Add a row with the Add Item button; on each row you pick an icon and type the text next to it.
  • The icon list is fixed: Shipping, Package, Warranty, Payment, Returns, Timing, Gift, Support, Discount, Natural, Secure, Quality, Phone, Location, Certificate, Approved.
  • You can add at most 10 items. Remove a row with the trash icon.
  • Rows left with empty text are not saved.

Tip: Do not put product-specific facts here; these items appear on every product page. For product-specific facts use the "Additional Info" area on the product record.

ItemDescription

How to save?

  1. Make the changes you want (in any section).
  2. Press the Save button at the bottom of the page.
  3. If successful, the "Product settings saved" notification appears.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I change the URL prefix? 90 days have not passed since the last change. The field stays locked until that date; how long you need to wait is written in the warning text.

When "Stock Visibility" is off, does stock tracking stop? No. This toggle only determines whether the stock information is shown to the customer; it does not affect stock tracking in the background.

Do I need to save each section separately? No. The tab is one form; the single Save button at the bottom of the page saves everything together.

I changed the card design but it didn't show up on the storefront right away. Storefront pages are briefly cached for performance. It updates by itself within a few minutes.

I changed the gallery style but the product page looks the same. Your product page template may assign a look directly to the gallery block; in that case the template choice overrides the store setting. In Theme Editor → Product Page Template, select the gallery block and set its look back to "take from store settings".
