Where to find: Store Settings → Currency Settings tab Who it's for: Those who show currencies other than TL (USD, EUR) in their store and want to add a buffer to their prices against rate fluctuations. In short: You view the current exchange rates, set an optional buffer percentage (spread) to be added to your prices for each currency, and track the history of these changes.

What does it do?

The Currency Settings tab is about the foreign currencies shown in your store. It consists of three panels: Current Rates, Currency Spread Settings, and Spread History. These panels only work for the currencies active in your store (such as USD, EUR); your main currency is TL.

Tip: "Spread" (buffer) is a small percentage you add to the rate to protect your prices because the rate is constantly changing. It is optional; if you don't want to add it, you can leave it at 0.

1. Current Rates

The "Current Rates" panel shows the current values of the currencies against TL. At the top, the last update time is written: "Last update: {tarih saat}" (if unknown, "Unknown").

Table columns:

ColumnMeaning
CurrencyCurrency code (for example USD) and name
RateHow many TL 1 unit of the currency is worth
StatusWhether the rate is Current or Outdated

If there is no rate information yet, the "No rate information available yet." message appears.

Tip: Rates are updated automatically; this panel is for information purposes only, you cannot change the rate here. If the "Status" column says Outdated, wait for the rate to be updated.

2. Currency Spread Settings

"Optional. The additional percentage rate to be added to your prices for each currency (a buffer against rate fluctuations)."

You enter a percentage for each active currency. Below the value you enter, a preview appears in the form "Adds %{değer}". For example, if you enter 5 for USD, a 5% buffer is added to your USD prices.

  • If there is no active currency that can be configured, the "No active currency available to configure spread." message appears.
  • After entering the values, press the Save button; the "Spread settings updated" notification appears.

Tip: Think of the spread as a safety margin between the rate and your selling rate. To avoid losing money when the rate rises suddenly, you can add a small percentage (for example 2–5%).

3. Spread History

"Record of spread changes. The last 100 records are shown." This panel lets you track who changed the spread rates and when.

At the top there are two filters and a refresh button:

  • Currency filter: a specific currency or All.
  • Period filter: Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Last 180 days, Last 1 year.
  • Refresh button: refreshes the list.

Table columns:

ColumnMeaning
DateThe date and time the change was made
CurrencyFor which currency
ChangeFrom the old value to the new value (for example %2 → %5)
Changed byThe person who made the change; if it is an automatic change, "System"

If there are no records matching the filter you selected, the "No records found for this filter." message appears.
