Spin the Wheel — Overview and List

You show a wheel of fortune pop-up on your site; the customer enters their email, spins the wheel, and wins a discount/reward.

Where to find: Campaigns → Spin the Wheel Who it's for: Anyone wanting to collect emails and encourage sales with a gamified pop-up In short: You show a wheel of fortune pop-up on your site; the customer enters their email, spins the wheel, and wins a discount/reward.

What is spin the wheel? (what does the customer see?)

When the customer visits your site, a button (e.g. "Spin the Wheel") appears in the corner. When they click it, a wheel pop-up opens in the middle: "Spin the Lucky Wheel!". The customer enters their email and spins the wheel. The wheel lands on a slice according to the probabilities you set. If they win (e.g. 20% discount), a coupon code is automatically generated for them; they use it when shopping.

Your benefit: Both your email list grows (for marketing) and the customer is encouraged to shop.

There are two types

TypeWhat is it?
Spin the WheelThe classic spinning wheel of fortune (with slices).
Open the CaseA "chest/case opening" style; slices are shown with rarity levels (Common, Rare, Very Rare, Legendary).

The type cannot be changed after the campaign is created.

Two important rules

  1. Only ONE campaign can be active at a time. When you make a campaign active, the other campaign that is active at that moment (wheel or case) is automatically closed.
  2. KVKK requirement: Because the wheel collects emails, having a KVKK Disclosure Text is a legal requirement. If it's missing, a warning appears on the screen: "KVKK Disclosure Text not found. Creating this agreement is a legal requirement for campaigns that collect emails." — you can create the text with the Create Agreement link next to it.

Frequently asked questions

I can't see the wheel on the site. Make sure the campaign is Active and the date range is current. The display rules (device, delay) may also be a factor (see the creation document).

Why aren't two of my campaigns live at the same time? The system allows only one active campaign at a time; when you turn one on, the other turns off.
