Creating a Spin the Wheel (Slices, Visibility, Rules)
You set the wheel's title, its slices (rewards), and to whom and when it will be shown.
Where to find: Spin the Wheel list → New Campaign (or Edit) Who it's for: Anyone setting up a wheel campaign In short: You set the wheel's title, its slices (rewards), and to whom and when it will be shown.
The form consists of several cards. The most important one is the slice editor (the wheel's rewards).
Step 0 — Campaign type
At the start of the form, you choose whether it's Spin the Wheel or Open the Case. This choice is locked after saving and cannot be changed.
Card 1 — General Information
| Field | What to enter? | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Campaign Name | The name you'll see in management. E.g. "Summer 2026". | |
| Wheel Title | The title that will appear to the customer in the pop-up. E.g. "Spin the Lucky Wheel!". | |
| Description | Appears below the title in the pop-up. E.g. "Enter your email, try your luck!". | |
| Start / End Date | The period the campaign is valid. |
Card 2 — Slice Editor (the most important section)
The wheel is divided into slices; each slice carries a reward (or is "empty"). The editor has two columns: the slice list on the left, the settings of the selected slice on the right.
Slice list (left)
- At the top, how many slices there are and an Add Slice button. (At least 2, at most 12 slices.)
- In each slice row: the color box, label, probability percentage, and move up/down + delete buttons.
- At the bottom, a Total Probability indicator: it must be 100%. It appears green if 100%, red otherwise.
A slice's settings (right)
When you click on a slice in the list, its settings open on the right:
| Field | What is it for? |
|---|---|
| Label | The name of the slice/reward (e.g. "20% Discount", "Empty"). |
| Probability (%) | The chance of the wheel landing on this slice. The total of all slices must be 100. |
| Background Color / Text Color | The slice's colors (for visual harmony). |
| Has a Reward? | On/off. If off, this slice is "lost/empty". If on, the reward fields below appear. |
Reward fields (if Has a Reward? is on)
You select a Discount Type; the fields change depending on the selection:
| Discount Type | Values entered |
|---|---|
| Percentage | Discount Value (%), Max Discount, Min Cart. |
| Amount | Discount Value (₺), Min Cart. |
| Free Shipping | (no additional value) |
| Gift Product | Select Product (the product to be given as a gift). |
Additionally, on each rewarded slice:
- Code Validity (days): How many days the won coupon is valid (e.g. 7).
- Code Prefix: The beginning of the coupon code (e.g. "SPIN" → SPIN_ABC123).
In the Open the Case type, Rarity (Common/Rare/Very Rare/Legendary) is additionally selected; this automatically determines the slice's color.
How does probability work? (example)
You have 4 slices and gave them these probabilities: 50% "Empty", 30% "10% discount", 15% "20% discount", 5% "Free Shipping". Total = 100%. When the customer spins, the system selects a random slice according to these weights; in the long run, roughly half will come up "Empty".
Tip: Give big rewards a low probability (e.g. 5%). This way the reward stays attractive but your cost stays controlled.
Card 3 — Visibility (who should it be shown to?)
| Field | Options / Meaning |
|---|---|
| Visibility | Public / Members Only / Customer Group (which group, if selected). |
| Email Required | If on, entering an email is mandatory to spin the wheel (on by default — this is the purpose of collecting emails). |
Card 4 — Display Rules (when/where should it appear?)
| Field | What is it for? |
|---|---|
| Button Position | The trigger button's place on the screen: Left Center / Right Center / Bottom Left / Bottom Right. |
| Button Text | The text on the button (e.g. "Spin the Wheel"). |
| Device Targeting | All / Desktop / Mobile. |
| Spin Duration (sec) | How many seconds the wheel's spin animation lasts (1-10, default 3). |
| Delay (seconds) | How many seconds after the page opens the pop-up appears (0 = immediately). |
| Exit Detection | If on, the wheel opens automatically when the customer is about to leave the page (when they move the mouse upward). Only works on desktop. |
| Auto Open | If on, the pop-up opens on its own when the page loads. |
Exit detection is very effective for "catching the leaving customer at the last moment".
Status and saving (right panel)
- Status toggle: If you make the campaign Active, the warning "...the current active campaign will be automatically closed." appears (one active campaign at a time).
- You save the campaign with the Save (Create / Update) button.
Short end-to-end example
- New Campaign → Type: Spin the Wheel.
- General Information: Name "Summer 2026", Title "Spin the Summer Wheel!", date range.
- Slices: At least 2 slices; e.g. "Empty 60%", "10% Discount 30%", "25% Discount (Max 50₺) 10%". Total 100% (green).
- Visibility: Public + Email Required.
- Display: Button "Right Center", delay 2 sec, exit detection on.
- Status: Active → Save.
Frequently asked questions
The total probability isn't 100%, can I save? The system may allow it, but the indicator stays red and the wheel won't distribute fairly. It is recommended that you make it 100%.
How does the coupon reach the winners? When the customer lands on a rewarded slice, the system automatically generates a coupon code (with the prefix + validity period) and shows it to the customer.
I chose the wrong type (Wheel/Case). The type doesn't change after saving; you need to delete the campaign and recreate it.
Spin the Wheel — Overview and List
You show a wheel of fortune pop-up on your site; the customer enters their email, spins the wheel, and wins a discount/reward.
Spin the Wheel Statistics
A report screen showing how many times the campaign was spun, how many emails it collected, and how much the coupons were used.
