You set the store's "helper" behaviors and the appearance of the checkout flow from here.
Where to find: The Fixed Buttons (), Behavior () and Checkout () tabs in the Theme Settings panel Who it's for: Those who want to set the corner WhatsApp button, scroll-to-top arrow, cookie consent or the cart/checkout page appearance In short: You set the store's "helper" behaviors and the appearance of the checkout flow from here.
1) Fixed Buttons tab
What does it do?
Fixed Buttons are contact buttons that always stay fixed in the corner of your store (the most common being the WhatsApp button). Even when the customer scrolls down the page, these buttons stay in place, so they can reach you at any moment.
Main settings
| Setting | What does it do? |
|---|---|
| Enable fixed buttons | Turns all fixed buttons on/off. If off, none are shown. |
| Position | In which corner of the screen the buttons will sit: Bottom Left or Bottom Right. |
| Appearance | Single (a single button) or Menu (multiple buttons that open when you press one main button). |
If Appearance "Menu" is selected, additional Menu Icon and Menu Color settings appear (the icon and color of the main button that triggers the dropdown menu).
Adding a button
You add a new button with Add Button. Up to 6 buttons can be added; when the limit is reached the button turns into the text Maximum 6 buttons can be added.
What can be adjusted for each button:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Type | The button's type: WhatsApp, Phone, Email or Custom URL. |
| Target | Where it goes when clicked. Example value by type: WhatsApp 905551234567, Phone +90 555 123 4567, Email info@magaza.com, URL https://.... |
| Predefined Message | (WhatsApp only) The message that will be written automatically when the customer presses the button. E.g.: "Hello, I would like to get information...". |
| Icon | The button's icon. |
| Label | The text shown below/beside the button. |
| Tooltip | The tooltip text that appears when you hover over it with the mouse. |
| Color | The button's color. |
| Size | Small / Medium / Large. |
| Shape | Round or Rounded. |
| Shadow | None / Small / Medium / Large. |
| Animation | None / Pulse / Bounce (to draw attention). |
| Visibility | Turn on/off separately for Mobile and Desktop. |
You can reorder the buttons by dragging. To delete a button, use the delete icon; a Delete Button confirmation appears ("Are you sure you want to delete this button?").
Tip: For most stores, a single WhatsApp button (Bottom Right, with a subtle Pulse animation) is the most effective setup. The ability to reach the customer instantly increases sales.
2) Behavior tab
What does it do?
The Behavior tab manages three small but useful behaviors of your store: the scroll-to-top button, cookie consent, and the page progress bar.
Scroll-to-Top Button
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Scroll-to-Top Button (on/off) | The button that appears when the customer scrolls down the page, letting them return to the top with one click. |
| Variant (when on) | Its appearance: Circle, Pill or Progress (showing the scroll percentage). |
Cookie Consent
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Cookie Consent (on/off) | The cookie notice/consent box that appears on the first visit to your site. |
| Variant (when on) | Its appearance: Bar (a thin band at the bottom), Card (a box in the corner) or Modal (a window in the center). |
Tip: Cookie consent is a legal requirement in many places; if your store uses visitor data/cookies, it's recommended to keep this setting on.
Progress Bar
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Progress Bar (on/off) | A thin line at the very top of the page that fills as the customer scrolls. |
| Color (when on) | Primary, Accent, Text or Custom (you choose your own color). |
| Thickness (when on) | Thin, Default or Thick. |
3) Checkout tab
What does it do?
The Checkout tab adjusts the appearance and features of the cart, address and checkout pages that the customer sees while completing their purchase.
Warning — saved instantly: Changes in this tab don't wait for Publish; every change is saved automatically within a few seconds. When it's saved successfully you'll see the Checkout settings saved notification. (For this reason, the change you make here is reflected in the store even if you don't click Publish.)
Page Layouts
The section where you choose the layout of the cart, address and checkout steps. Several ready-made layouts are shown as small schemas (wireframes) for each; you click the one you like:
| Setting | What for? |
|---|---|
| Cart Page Layout | The layout of the cart page. |
| Address Page Layout | The layout of the address entry step. |
| Checkout Page Layout | The layout of the checkout step. |
| Progress Bar Style | The style of the progress bar showing the checkout steps (Cart → Address → Checkout). |
Cart Features
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Coupon Code Field | If on, a coupon code entry is shown on the cart page. (Description: Show coupon code entry on the cart page.) |
| Product Suggestions | If on, additional product suggestions are shown in the cart. When you turn it on, you choose at which steps the suggestions will appear: Cart Page, Address Step, Checkout Step. |
Checkout Features
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Trust Badges | If on, secure payment badges are shown on the checkout page. (Description: Show trust badges on the checkout page.) |
Delivery
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Estimated Delivery Time | If on, the estimated delivery time is shown on the checkout page. When you turn it on, you enter the Minimum Days and Maximum Days values (e.g. 2–5 days). |
Order Note Visibility
With the Order Note Visibility setting, you choose at which steps the field where the customer can write an order note will appear: Cart Page, Address Step, Checkout Step (each with a separate on/off).
Tip: Showing the estimated delivery time and adding trust badges relieves the customer's "when will it arrive, is it safe?" hesitations and lowers the cart abandonment rate.
Frequently asked questions
Q: I changed the checkout settings but didn't click Publish, yet it still changed in the store? A: Yes, this is normal. The Checkout tab saves instantly; it is independent of Publish. If you saw the change notification ("Checkout settings saved"), the save is complete.
Q: The WhatsApp button doesn't show on mobile. A: Make sure the Mobile switch is on in that button's Visibility setting. Also, the main Enable fixed buttons switch at the top needs to be on.
Q: Can I turn off cookie consent? A: Technically yes, but if your store uses visitor tracking/cookies, you are legally required to show it in most countries. Check your obligations before turning it off.
