Where to find: The Ready-made Themes (template icon) button in the top toolbar Who it's for: Those who want to start quickly with a ready-made professional look, without dealing with design from scratch In short: You apply one of the ready-made themes prepared by experts to your store with a single click. Ideal for a quick start.
What does it do?
Designing from scratch takes time. Ready-made Themes lets you pick one of the fully designed looks and apply it to your store with a single click. Colors, fonts and page layout come as a whole; you then adapt it to your own store by making small changes on it.
To open the panel, click the Ready-made Themes button in the top toolbar. The title of the drawer that opens is Ready-made Themes, and its description is Pick one of the ready-made themes and apply it to your store.
Browsing among themes
There are category filters at the top; you can filter according to the style you want:
| Filter | Style |
|---|---|
| All | All themes. |
| Minimal | Plain, with few elements. |
| Modern | Current, contemporary. |
| Classic | Traditional, balanced. |
| Bold | Assertive, eye-catching. |
| Elegant | Stylish, refined. |
Each theme appears as a card: with a preview image, its name and a short description. Some themes have a Premium badge (special/premium themes).
If there are no ready-made themes at all, the text No ready-made themes yet is shown.
Applying a theme
- Click the Apply button on the card of the theme you like.
- A confirmation window appears — its title is Apply Theme, and its message is: Your current theme settings will be reset. Do you want to continue?
- If you confirm, the theme is applied (while the process runs it says Applying...).
- When successful, you'll see the Theme applied successfully notification. If there's a problem, the An error occurred while applying the theme warning appears.
Warning — your current settings are reset: Applying a ready-made theme replaces your current theme settings. That is, the colors, fonts and some layouts you previously set by hand change to the ready-made theme's. For this reason, the confirmation window warns you explicitly. If you have a design you've worked on for a long time, think twice before applying a ready-made theme.
Tip: A ready-made theme is perfect when starting out or when you want to refresh the look from scratch. While you're still setting up your store, starting with a ready-made theme and then fine-tuning the colors/text/components to your taste is the fastest way.
Frequently asked questions
Q: I applied a ready-made theme but didn't like it, can I go back to my old state? A: Since applying replaces the current settings, there is no automatic "undo." However, if you haven't clicked Publish yet, when you close and reopen the page, the unpublished changes are gone and you return to your last published state. You can also try another ready-made theme you like.
Q: Does a ready-made theme delete my products/content? A: No. A ready-made theme only changes the appearance (color, text, layout). Your products, categories and orders are not affected.
Q: What do "Premium" badged themes mean? A: These are special/premium ready-made themes. The terms of use may vary according to your plan; the badge indicates that the theme is not standard.
Q: I applied the ready-made theme, can I now change everything? A: Yes. A ready-made theme is only a starting point. After applying it, you can change the colors, font and components from Theme Settings however you wish.
