Connecting iyzico to Your Store
First you apply to iyzico and get approved, then you enter the API Key and Secret Key from your iyzico panel into Treyza and enable the integration.…
Where to find it: Left menu → Integrations → Payment category → iyzico Who is it for: Stores that want to accept credit card payments and have chosen iyzico. In short: First you apply to iyzico and get approved, then you enter the API Key and Secret Key from your iyzico panel into Treyza and enable the integration. You cannot take card payments before your application is approved.
Know the order up front (this is where most people get stuck)
The iyzico integration differs from most others: iyzico has to approve you before you can enter any keys. During the review, iyzico visits your site and checks that your contracts, contact details and logos are in place.
Here is the awkward part: iyzico wants its logos on your site, but the moment you need to add them is the moment you cannot yet connect the integration. That is why Treyza lets you turn the logos on independently of the integration (step 2 below).
The correct order:
- Prepare your site for iyzico's criteria (contracts, contact details, SSL).
- Turn the logos on manually — even while the integration is not connected.
- Apply to iyzico and wait for approval.
- Once approved, enter the keys in Treyza and enable the integration.
- Test.
Warning: If you skip step 2, your iyzico application may come back rejected for "missing website criteria" and the process starts over.
1) Prepare your site for iyzico's criteria
During the application, iyzico looks for the following on your site:
| Criterion | Where to do it in Treyza |
|---|---|
| Site live and products visible with prices | Your store must be published and your product prices must be filled in. |
| Privacy Policy | Content → Legal Pages |
| Distance Selling Agreement | Content → Legal Pages |
| Delivery and Return Terms | Content → Legal Pages |
| Contact details (trade name, tax number, address, email, phone) | Store Settings and/or a Contact page; must be reachable from the footer |
| SSL certificate | Included for stores hosted on Treyza; if you connected your own domain, verify the certificate is active. |
| Visa, Mastercard and "Pay with iyzico" logos | Theme Editor (next step) |
| Licences/documents for your line of business | If your product category is regulated (supplements, cosmetics, etc.), the relevant documents are requested. |
Tip: You can use the ready-made templates on the Content → Legal Pages screen to create the legal pages. Make sure those pages are linked in the footer — iyzico does not check that a page exists, it checks that it is reachable from the site.
2) Publish the logos BEFORE you apply
In Treyza, payment logos are controlled in two places: a store-wide setting, and optionally a per-footer-block setting.
Store-wide (recommended)
- Open Theme Editor from the left menu.
- Switch the right panel to Theme Settings mode and go to the Checkout () tab.
- Find the Payment Logos setting under the Checkout Features heading.
- Select iyzico.
The options are:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Automatic | Follows the connected payment integration. If none is connected, no logo is shown. Not useful during the application stage. |
| iyzico | Shows the Visa + Mastercard + iyzico band even if the integration is not connected. Choose this for the application. |
| PayTR | Shows the PayTR logo even if the integration is not connected. |
| Hide | No payment logo is shown. |
Warning: The Checkout tab does not wait for Publish; changes are saved automatically within a few seconds and go live.
A separate choice for a single footer
Your store may have more than one footer component (Classic, Centered, Minimal and Dark footer). Each has its own settings:
- In the Theme Editor, click the footer block in question.
- In the Properties panel on the right, leave Show Payment Logos turned on.
- Pick a value from the Logo Set list right below it:
- Use theme setting (default) — the store-wide choice above applies.
- iyzico (Visa + Mastercard) — the iyzico band in this footer only.
- PayTR — the PayTR logo in this footer only.
- Hide — no logo in this footer only.
Tip: The block setting overrides the store-wide setting. To avoid confusion, normally leave every footer on Use theme setting and manage the choice from one place, the Checkout tab.
Where do the logos appear?
- In the footer: the Visa + Mastercard + iyzico logo band. If the footer background is dark the white version is chosen automatically, if it is light the colour version is used.
- On the checkout page: the "Pay with iyzico" badge below the card entry form. You can turn this badge off separately with the payment form block's Show Pay with iyzico Badge setting.
Warning: The logos come from iyzico's own brand pack and are stored inside Treyza. Do not change their colours or proportions and do not crop them; iyzico checks this during the application too.
3) Apply to iyzico
You apply through iyzico's own site, not through Treyza. The following documents are usually requested:
- Signature circular
- Tax certificate
- Photocopy of the company owners' ID
- A bank account document showing the account holder's name and IBAN
On the application form you enter your store's domain; iyzico opens that address and checks the criteria above.
Tip: Do not leave your store in hidden/maintenance mode before applying. If iyzico cannot see the site, the application does not move forward.
How long does it take? It depends on iyzico's workload and on how complete your documents are. Missing documents or missing criteria are the biggest cause of delay.
4) Enter the keys in Treyza
After your application is approved, iyzico gives you a merchant panel. You get the keys from there.
- In your iyzico panel go to Settings → API Keys.
- Copy the API Key and Secret Key values.
- In Treyza, open the Integrations page from the left menu.
- Click the iyzico card in the Payment category.
- Fill in the fields in the window that opens:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| API Key | Your API key from the iyzico panel |
| Secret Key | Your secret key from the iyzico panel |
| Test Mode | Turn on to try payments without charging real money (see the section below) |
- In the same window, turn Enable Integration on.
- Press Save. The keys and the on/off state are saved together.
Warning: Only one provider can be active at a time in the Payment category. When you enable iyzico, an active PayTR or Stripe is switched off automatically. Bank Transfer / EFT is outside this rule; it can stay on alongside card payments.
Tip: The Secret Key is stored encrypted and is never sent to the storefront. Card transactions run on the server side.
5) Test mode
While Test Mode is on, payments go to iyzico's sandbox environment and no real money is charged. iyzico gives you separate test keys for this mode.
- Test keys normally start with the
sandbox-prefix. - When you turn test mode on, enter the test keys as well. If test mode is on but the test keys are empty, payments will not start and you will get a "The payment provider is in test mode but test keys are not entered" error — this is a guard that prevents live keys from being sent to the test environment by accident.
Warning: Remember to turn Test Mode off when you go live. If it stays on, the customer appears to have paid but no money reaches your account.
6) Verify that it works
- Add a product to the cart on your storefront and go to the Checkout step.
- Check that the Credit Card option appears and the card form opens.
- Check that the "Pay with iyzico" badge appears below the card form.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and check the Visa + Mastercard + iyzico band in the footer.
- Place a small test order in test mode and confirm it appears on the Orders screen.
Frequently asked
I added the logos but they do not show on the storefront. Check three things in order: (1) the Theme Settings → Checkout → Payment Logos setting is not Hide, (2) the footer block's Show Payment Logos switch is on, (3) that block's Logo Set setting is not Hide. Storefront pages are cached briefly; refresh the page once right after a change.
I left the setting on "Automatic" and no logo appears. Automatic follows the connected payment integration. If you have not connected iyzico yet, there is no connected provider, so no logo is rendered. Set it to iyzico during the application stage.
I have several footers — do I have to show the logo in all of them? No, but iyzico wants to see the logo on the site. If the footer your visitors see has no logo, the criterion may count as unmet. The safest route: make the choice store-wide from the Checkout tab and leave every footer block on Use theme setting.
My application was rejected, what should I do? iyzico tells you which criterion is missing. The most common ones: missing legal pages or pages that are not reachable from the footer, missing contact details, and missing logos. Fix what is missing and apply again.
Does PayTR have the same logo requirement? PayTR has no published "logo requirement" clause like iyzico's; the conditions highlighted in a PayTR application are SSL and legal pages (privacy, return/cancellation). If you still want to show the PayTR logo, you can set Payment Logos to PayTR. Confirm the exact conditions with PayTR.
I changed my keys, what happens? When you enter the new keys and press Save, the connection is refreshed immediately. Payments in progress are not affected; subsequent payments run with the new keys.
