Blocked Addresses

A list of addresses the system will no longer send email to. Addresses that keep bouncing, complain, or that you add manually are kept here.

Where to find: Left menu → EmailBlocked Addresses Who it's for: Anyone who wants to stop email going to certain addresses, or see why an address was blocked In short: A list of addresses the system will no longer send email to. Addresses that keep bouncing, complain, or that you add manually are kept here.

What is it for?

Continuing to email some addresses is harmful: if the address is invalid it bounces on every attempt, and if the recipient complained, insisting lowers your domain reputation. The Blocked Addresses list protects you by disabling these addresses automatically or manually.

An address enters the list for these reasons:

  • Hard bounce: The address does not exist or is invalid.
  • Soft bounce: Repeated temporary failures over several attempts.
  • Complaint: The recipient marked the email as spam.
  • Unsubscribe: The recipient left the list.
  • Manual: You added it by hand.

Scope: All, or Marketing only?

Every block has a scope:

  • All: No email is sent to this address (including order notifications).
  • Marketing: Only marketing/campaign emails are blocked; order and transactional emails keep going out.

What can you do?

  • Search and filter: Search by address, filter by reason.
  • Add a block manually: Use "Add block" to add an address, choosing a scope.
  • Remove a block: Unblock an address that was blocked by mistake; it can receive email again.
  • Export: Download the whole list as CSV.

Note: Only unblock an address when you are sure it is genuinely valid. Reopening an invalid address will raise your bounce rate again.
