Product Images
The section where you add the photos and videos that will appear in the store, and change their order by dragging.
Where to find: Product form → Product Images card (in Simple and Bundle products) Who it's for: Anyone who adds photos/videos to their product In short: The section where you add the photos and videos that will appear in the store, and change their order by dragging.
What is this card?
Customers recognize a product first by its photo. This card is where you manage all of the product's images (and videos) on the storefront and the product page.
Note — This card doesn't exist in variant products. In a variant product, images are assigned separately to each variant (Red, Blue...). Its explanation is in the Variants (Color, Size, etc.) file.
The most important rule: The FIRST image = the COVER image
The order of the images is very important. Because:
In the list and on the store storefront, the VERY FIRST (first) of your images is used as the product's cover photo.
So you should put the most beautiful, clearest photo that best represents the product first. The order should be: best cover → detail photos → video if any.
Adding images — 2 ways
Way 1: Selecting from the gallery (Select Image button)
- Click the Select Image button on the card.
- Your store's media gallery opens (all the photos and videos you've previously uploaded are here).
- Mark the image(s) you want by clicking on them. You can select more than one at the same time.
- Confirm the selection; the images are added to the card.
Tip: If you don't have a photo in the gallery yet, you first upload it to the gallery and then select it from here. (The gallery section is a separate area.)
Way 2: Finding images with AI (Find Image with AI button)
If you don't have a photo, the system can find free stock photos from the internet for you:
- Click the Find Image with AI button; a small window opens.
- Type a search topic (e.g. "blue t-shirt"). If you leave it blank, the product name is used.
- Select how many images you want downloaded (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, or 10).
- Press the Search button.
- The system finds suitable images, downloads them to your gallery, and adds them to the product.
Warning: This feature may have a monthly download limit (quota). If you reach the limit, you'll see a warning.
Ordering images (drag and drop)
After adding images, changing their order is very easy:
- Press and hold the mouse on the image you want to order.
- While holding, drag the image to where you want.
- Release. The image settles in its new place, the others shift.
- The change is saved automatically (it becomes permanent when you save the form).
Reminder: The image you drag to the very front becomes the cover.
Tip — Ordering logic:
- 1st position: The best promotional photo (cover).
- 2nd–4th positions: Detail photos from different angles.
- Last positions: Usage video, size chart image, etc. if any.
Appearance of the images
- The images are arranged in a grid; they appear as 2–6 columns depending on the screen width.
- The file name is written under each image.
- If you've added a video, a preview frame (thumbnail) of the video is shown automatically; this way you understand which video it is.
If there are no images
On the card you'll see the text "No image selected yet." and a Select Image button.
Supported files
- Photo: Common formats like PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF.
- Video: Formats like MP4, WebM.
- Video preview: The system generates the video's thumbnail automatically.
Frequently asked questions
I got the image order wrong, what happens? No problem at all; you can drag and fix it again anytime.
Do I select the cover photo separately? No. There's no separate "select cover" button. Cover = the first image in the list. To change the cover, drag the image you want to the very front.
How many images can I add? No practical limit is specified; however, a large number of big images can slow down the page loading. Usually 4–8 quality images are ideal.
How do I add a video? Just like a photo: you select the video file from the gallery with Select Image.
