Activity Log

A view-only logbook that shows by whom and when all the actions done in your store (create, update, delete, etc.) were performed.

What does it do?

The Activity Log keeps a past record of the actions done in your store panel. When a product is added, an order is updated, a setting is changed or a record is deleted; who did it, when and on which record is recorded here.

Especially if you work with more than one person, you find the answer to "who made this change?" here. At the start of the page there is a title (Activity Log) and the description "Record of all actions done in your store".

Warning: This page is view-only. You cannot delete or edit the records from here; you can only filter and review them.

Filters

At the top of the page there are four filters to narrow down the records:

When you select one or more filters, the Clear Filters button appears on the right side; it resets all filters with a single click.

Action types

Tip: Action types are shown with colored badges in the table; so you can tell them apart as soon as you look at the list. For example, Delete is red, Create is green, and Update is blue.

Resource (record) types

The record types you can select in the filter: Product, Order, Customer, Category, Settings, Discount Code, Automation, Warehouse, Brand, Tag, Supplier, Gallery, Member, Content, FAQ, Variant, Theme, Legal Page, Add-on, Other.

Table columns

The table below the filters lists the records from newest to oldest. Columns:

ResourceThe type of record the action was done on (for example Product, Order)
SummaryA short description of the action (if none, "-")
IP AddressThe IP address from which the action was done (visible only on wide screens; if none, "-")

Pagination

Below the table there is pagination:

  • On the left, the Total number of records is shown.
  • From the Rows Per Page menu you select how many records appear on a page (10, 20, 30, 50 or 100).
  • In the middle there is the "Page {number} / {total}" information.
  • With the arrows on the right you can go to the first page, the previous/next page and the last page.

Empty state

If there are no records yet, the table shows the title "No activity records yet" and the description "Actions done in your store will be listed here". This means no action that would be recorded has been done in your store yet.

Frequently asked questions

Can I undo a record from here? No. The Activity Log only records what was done; it does not undo an action. For example, you cannot bring back a deleted product from here; the log only shows that the delete action was done.

Why do some rows in the "User" column have only an email? If the name of the person who did the action is not recorded, only the email address is shown. If there is a name, the name appears on top and the email below.

Can I export (download) the records? There is no download button for records on this screen; the page is for viewing and filtering.
