Account & Security

The area where you strengthen your account's sign-in security; from here you turn two-factor authentication on or off and manage your backup codes.

Where to find: User menu (top right) → Security Who it's for: Anyone who wants to make their account more secure In short: The area where you strengthen your account's sign-in security; from here you turn two-factor authentication on or off and manage your backup codes.

What does it do?

The Account & Security area lets you manage the security of the user account you sign in to the panel with. The main feature here is two-factor authentication (often shortened to "2FA").

Two-factor authentication asks for a second proof in addition to your password when you sign in: a constantly changing 6-digit code produced by an app on your phone. That way, even if your password somehow falls into someone else's hands, they cannot get into your account without your phone.

Think of it as a second lock on your front door: even if the key (your password) is stolen, the code for the second lock stays with you.

Where to find it

Your security settings are kept in the accounts app you use to sign in. You reach it from the panel in one of two ways:

PanelPath
Management panelYour user menu at the bottom left (where your name is) → Security
Seller panelYour profile menu at the top right → Profile Settings → the Two-Factor Authentication card on the page → Set up / Manage

Either path takes you to the same Security page.

The Security page opens on a separate accounts address; your browser may show it in a new tab or page. This is normal. When you're done, you can return with the Panele dön ("Back to panel") link at the bottom of the page.
