Dashboard — Overview

Where to find: Left menu → Overview (the first screen that opens when you enter the store) Who it's for: Anyone who wants to see their store's overall status (revenue, orders, visitors, conversion) at a glance. In short: Your store's summary report card; it shows sales, visitor and conversion data with charts based on the time range you select. For new stores it also offers a setup guide.

What does it do?

The Dashboard (shown as the title Dashboard on the screen) is the first screen you see when you log in to your store. It summarizes your store's current status with figures and charts: how much revenue you earned, how many orders you received, how many visitors came, and how many of these visitors converted into a purchase.

Its purpose is to let you keep your finger on your store's "pulse" from a single screen, without going into separate pages.

Selecting the time range

In the top right corner of the page there is a three-option button group. All figures and charts are recalculated based on the range you select:

OptionData it shows
TodayToday's data (hourly breakdown in charts)
7 DaysLast 7 days' data (daily breakdown)
30 DaysLast 30 days' data (daily breakdown)

Tip: The small green/red percentage below the cards shows the change compared to the previous period. Green and an up arrow indicate an increase, red and a down arrow indicate a decrease. This way you quickly answer the question "am I doing better than last week?".

For the full list of which cards, charts and tables are on the panel, check the Metrics and Charts on the Dashboard page.

Store Setup Guide (for new stores)

If your store is new, you will see a card called Store Setup Guide at the very top of the panel. This is a checklist of the steps recommended for you to complete to make your store ready for sale.

The card contains the following:

  • Completion status: the text "{completed}/{total} steps completed" and a progress bar.
  • A list of the steps to do. Each step has a title, a short description and an arrow on its right.

To complete a step:

  1. Click on the step; it takes you to the relevant page (for example, the "Add your first product" step takes you to the product add screen).
  2. When you finish the task there, you can come back and mark the step as completed by checking the checkbox on the left of the step. The text of completed steps appears struck through and moves to the bottom of the list.

When you finish all the steps, the card turns into the message "Congratulations!" and "You have completed all setup steps."

Steps that may appear in the list (they vary based on your store's type and the answers you gave at the start):

StepWhat does it do?
Customize your themeTakes you to the Theme Editor to make your store's appearance fit your brand
Set up integrationsTakes you to the Integrations page to set up payment and shipping integrations

Tip: If you no longer need this guide, you can hide it with the **** (close) button in the top right of the card. When you complete all the steps, the card closes by itself anyway.

Warning: When you close the setup guide, the card does not appear again. If you have not finished the steps yet, you can still do the relevant tasks directly from the relevant menus (Products, Gallery, Integrations, Theme Editor); the guide is only a reminder.

Frequently asked questions

All the figures are zero / it says "No data", why? This is normal when there has been no sale or visitor activity in the period you selected. Especially in new stores it appears empty at first until data accumulates.

Is the revenue figure here my exact accounting figure? The Dashboard offers a quick summary; for detailed calculations such as returns and commissions, check the relevant areas (Orders, Returns, Marketplace profitability, etc.).
