Claude Code
One command connects you, your key is embedded in that command, and claude mcp list confirms the connection.

claude mcp listconfirms the connection.
A key first
This page works with a key. If you do not have one, finish this page first: Creating a key
If you have just created a key, the setup block in step 3 of the wizard already has the command with your key embedded; you can copy it from there and paste it directly. In the examples below, replace trz_mcp_live_... with your own key.
The connect command
Open a terminal and run:
claude mcp add --transport http treyza https://api.treyza.co/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer trz_mcp_live_..."If the command succeeds it prints something like:
Added HTTP MCP server treyza with URL: https://api.treyza.co/mcp to local config
Headers: { "Authorization": "[REDACTED]" }[REDACTED] is normal: Claude Code does not print your key to the screen.
The parts of the command
| Part | What it means |
|---|---|
treyza | The name you give the connection. You may use a different name. |
--transport http | The connection type. This value does not change. |
https://api.treyza.co/mcp | The Treyza MCP server address |
--header "Authorization: Bearer …" | Your key. The quotation marks are required. |
Write it on one line on Windows. For readability the panel may show the command split across two lines with a backslash (\); that split works in Linux and macOS shells but does not work in Windows PowerShell. On Windows, use the single-line form above.
Checking the connection
claude mcp listYou see the Treyza row in the list:
treyza: https://api.treyza.co/mcp (HTTP) - ConnectedIf the row ends with Connected, the connection is up (Claude Code also puts a tick in front of that word).
For the details of a single connection:
claude mcp get treyzaAsk your first question
In a Claude Code session, type:
Which store are you connected to in Treyza?
If it writes your store's name, you are ready. Tried-out examples: Example scenarios
If it does not connect
| Symptom | Where to look |
|---|---|
Needs authentication or an identity error | The key may be mis-copied, revoked or expired |
| It connects but the tool list is empty | The key's packs may be closed; check with Edit scope |
| It does not connect at all | Does the address end with /mcp, are the quotation marks in place |
The detailed table: Troubleshooting
Removing the connection
The most certain way is to close it on the Treyza side: in the panel, Settings → AI Access, then Revoke the key. Revoking takes effect immediately and every app using that key loses access.
If you also want to delete the entry from Claude Code's own configuration, see Claude Code's own documentation; revoking on the Treyza side is enough.
Note · OAuth in Claude Code
Claude Code also supports the consent-screen (OAuth) route. On that route, however, Claude Code requires the sign-in step to happen in a real terminal; it cannot be driven from a script or automation. For Claude Code the shortest and most reliable route is connecting with a key — the route on this page.
