Details

With Details, the file's information is shown: Name, Type, Width/Height (image), Duration (video), File Size, File Path, Creation/Update Date.

Edit

With Edit you change the file's name (and, for an image, its dimensions; for a video, its custom thumbnail).

To change the content of an image (cropping, background, etc.), the Image Editor is used — see Image Editor and Stock Photos.

Deleting

  • Single file: "The ... file will be permanently deleted."
  • Multiple: "This action cannot be undone. {count} items will be permanently deleted."

Deletion cannot be undone. If an image is used elsewhere (product, blog), be careful before deleting it.

Empty state

If the folder is empty: "Gallery is empty — No images or folders added yet."

Frequently asked questions

How do I use an image I uploaded in a product? In the product form, say Select from Gallery and select it from this gallery.

Will my images be gone if I delete a folder? No — its contents are moved to the Root Folder, not deleted.

The upload says "skipped". The file may be an unsupported type, or your storage quota may be full.
